Mold Ball
How can i make a transparent bowling ball?
I already have a general idea of what im going to put inside of it and what materials im going to use for the coverstock. The coverstock is going to be made of a polyester resin. What I was wondering though is how large would I have to make the mold if I wanted the balls diameter to be 8.5 in?
and I forgot to mention that the Thermosetting Polyester Resin shrinks during the chemical reaction
Good luck with the ball and everything but you do realize that you will not be able to use this ball of yours in any sanctioned league or tournament play, right? Equipment must be certified by the USBC in order to be used in league or tournament play. Sounds like a fun thing to make, but it will be limited to use during practice and Friday Night Rock N' Bowl.
