Molded Cleats
When should soccer cleats be replaced?
I've had my cleats for 2-3 years, and the spikes seem a little worn down. In recent games, I've noticed that I can't turn as quickly as before. I avoid wearing them on concrete or other hard surfaces, and I try to keep them in good shape with polish, keeping them dry, etc. They are Brine molded spike cleats (the spikes don't come off) How short should the spikes be before the cleats must be replaced?
being a former player and current coach in america i would reccomend that you change them every 12 to 18 months, depending on your age and the amount of soccer you play and how serious you are, if you doubt your footwear in can play a negative part on your game metally.
