Philadelphia Phillies are a professional team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The team was formerly called Alleghenies and the innocent ones, the club adopted its name running in the year 1890. The town of Philadelphia has one of the longest traditions of the baseball in America. When Phillies were formed in 1883, the history was in manufacture.
