Adult-Lead: is when the (main) characters are adults like
-Cowboy Bebop
-Fist of the North Star
-Teknoman
-Outlaw Star
-Samurai Champloo
-Rurouni Kenshin
Teens-lead: is when the lead characters are usually 14,15,16 year olds such as
-Gundam Wing
-Fullmetal Alchemist
-Bleach
-Haruhi Suzumiya
-InuYasha
Kids-Lead: When the anime leads are 12 year olds or below such as -Pokemon
-Digimon
And there are inbetweens like Death Note, Naruto, and Dragonball
Which do you like more?
For me it is the adult-led anime because of their more violent and mature themes, don't get me wrong, I love anime like Naruto, Bleach and InuYasha.
I like the teen led ones. More late teens (15-19) because there usually more mature and better things happpen.
Examples:
○ Code Geass (main characters are 17-18 yrs. old)
○ Gundam (varies, usually teens)
○ Elfen Lied (main characters are 19)
○ School Days (main is 14 or 15)
In between:
○ Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ (main is a teen, then probably 20's)
○ Death Note (started off 18, then into his 20's)
