What position is it good for?
The glove should say softball or baseball on it.
The type of glove depends on what it looks like. The same make comes in all different styles.
Catchers gloves have thick, rounded padding.
First Base gloves have a large, thin pocket and look as if they are all one piece.
outfielders gloves tend to be longer.
infield gloves tend to be under 13"
as for being made fun of, most people probably wouldnt notice, and those that do won't say much, it is not that big of a deal
